Boarding your pet came be stressful. We understand that and strive to make the boarding process less stressing to both pet and owner! Our kennel has both cages and runs for our canine company. Our kitty guests enjoy a quiet vacation in "Cheddar's Room" named in memory of our original mascot, a yellow tabby named Cheddar! Food, water, bedding, and bowls are all provided, but it never hurts to send food and treats from home! A small reminder of home, such as a blanket or towel is ok to send also, but these things can become damaged or soiled, so they should be sent with caution!
All canine guests are given plenty of outdoor time for potty and play! Outdoor time is given individually to our guests, with the exception of "family members". If owners allow or request, "siblings" can be let outside to play together as time and weather permits! Our kennel yard is fenced in and allows guests plenty privacy for "potty" breaks!
Feline guests are provided with a kitty condo! Kitty condos come with a ledge for perching and observation! Playtime in "Cheddar's Room" is also available and given to our feline guests on an individual basis! With a wide variety of toys and cat trees/perches, our feline guests are widely entertained during their stay!
Guests are required to be fully vaccinated to board at the GAC B&B! Rabies vaccinations, "distemper" (DHPP/DHLPP and FVRPC) and Bordetella (kennel cough) are required to stay in the kennel and in "Cheddar's Room". Canine guests are also required to have a current stool sample test (with negative results) to board. This helps to protect our guests from contracting any viruses or picking up intestinal parasites while in our facility.
Boarding forms can be emailed to pet owners to be filled out and emailed back to our office prior to admittance to the B&B! This makes drop off easier for both owner and guest. Payment can also be taken care of by phone to make pick up faster and easier also! All boarders should be dropped off and picked up through our rear entrance. Holiday and weekend pickup and drop off is also available for the owner's convenience! Drop off and pickup during times that our office is closed requires all paperwork and payment to be completed prior to boarding.
